Our Beliefs

As a local expression of the historic, Christian faith, we confess The Apostle's Creed:

"I believe in God the Father Almighty, Maker of heaven and earth;

And in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, dead, and buried; He descended into hades; the third day He rose again from the dead; He ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty; from there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

I believe in the Holy Spirit, the holy Church universal, the communion of saints, the forgiveness of sins, the resurrection of the body, and the life everlasting.

Amen."

As a Church of the Nazarene in the Wesleyan / Holiness tradition, we believe:

In one God - the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

That the Old and New Testament Scriptures contain all truth necessary to faith and Christian living.

That man is born with a fallen nature. That the impenitent are lost.

That the atonement through Jesus Christ is for the whole human race; and that whoever repents and believes on the Lord Jesus Christ is saved from the power of sin.

That believers are to be sanctified wholly through faith in the Lord Jesus Christ.

That the Holy Spirit bears witness to the new birth, and also to the entire sanctification of believers.

That our Lord will return, the dead will be raised, and the final judgment will take place.
